- Great Lakes Telecom opens a new office in the Traverse City area. With an official opening date of January 14th, 2008 Great Lakes Telecom will be able to serve their current customer of the upper Michigan area as well as server new customers. The house is located at 13056 S.W. Bay Shore Drive, Traverse City. 231-995-0300 is the main number for that location.
- Great Lakes Telecom hires on a new Sales Manager to over see the 4 offices. Frank Slaventa came on board to Great Lakes Telecom October 1, 2007.
- Great Lakes Telecom is selected to provide local phone service equipment to the Town of Speedway, IN.
- The Archdiocese of America, located in the heart of Manhattan in New York City, upgrades their Voice and Data network architecture to MPLS VoIP (Voice-Over-IP Protocol) between Metropolis centers, St. Basils Academy, and Hellenic College Holy Cross.
- Ted Apostoleris Awarded the Gold Medal of St. Paul. His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios awarded Ted Apostoleris the Gold Medal of St. Paul. The Gold Medal of St. Paul is the highest honor a layperson can receive in the Greek Orthodox faith.
